Welcome

U S O on Juny 14, 2008

We would like to thank the volunteers that worked at USO on June 14, Lugenia Moore, Ramona and Michael Holbrook.

USO - June 14, 2008 We would like to thank the volunteers Lugenia Moore, Jan McMullen, Ramona and Michael Holbrook, and Tracy Ann Bobak-Ho, who worked at the USO Atlanta Office doing a variety of jobs, from greetings soldiers as they arrived at the baggage claim area from Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait (many where only on furlough), preparing lunch and snacks, and later on sending off new soldiers and those returning from furlough back to Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait. While many others asked to volunteer and did not get the chance this time, there will be more opportunities in the future where others will get the chance too. We would also like to thank those who sent in donations for the USO, this money helps provide for calling cards and other miscellaneous items that are given to the soldiers who are going overseas.

While some of us do not agree with the war in Iraq, we are there to support our young men and women who are being sent overseas to do their jobs in whatever capacity they are needed in the Middle East.

It is with heart-felt thanks that do what we can for these young men and women. And, we hope and pray that each and everyone of them comes homes safely.

Again, thanks to all those who asked to volunteer showing the heart and spirit of TIAG.

Tracy Ann Bobak-Ho, President TIAG
