TIAG PRESIDENT’S LETTER

2010 continues to bring many challenges to the travel industry community.  Although we are beginning to see a positive upswing in travel in the past couple of months, the need to belong to an organization that provides you with the opportunity to meet with your peers still exists.  TIAG continues to provide an excellent forum for all those involved in the travel industry to brainstorm about the industry trends, sales skills and professional growth.

TIAG will be focusing on the positive travel trends in 2010.  We have an exciting year planned!  Our first meeting of the year was a huge success with Kelly Fontenelle and August Jones presenting what is new and upcoming in St. Lucia.  By popular demand, we will be bringing back the “In Your Own Backyard” seminar, focusing on weekend getaways that are within driving distance from Atlanta.  There are several other meetings and surprises in store for you in 2010 including DS training, fams and more!  Also watch for some fabulous door prizes to be awarded at each meeting.  And remember, you must be a member of TIAG in good standing in order to qualify for the door prizes!  And do not forget to check the website, www.tiag.org, frequently for details on our upcoming events.  www.tiag.org is the source for information about travel industry events!
