Welcome

Open Letter from TIAG President Tracy Ann Bobak-Ho

Dear TIAG Members;

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Tracy Ann Bobak-Ho, View the World Tours, Inc and I am your new president for the rest of the year. I had been your Treasurer last year and had stepped up to the plate to replace our president who had to leave for personal reasons. This had unfortunately caused us to start late this year and we hope that you will attend our first event for the year on June 05 with Yalla, Israel and Jordan Tourism Bureaus at Anthonys.

I have been in the travel industry almost 12 years. I started out learning the ropes of the travel business in a corporate travel agency before moving to a local tour operator and consolidator to Asia. Now I have my own company.

Some of you may have found out that there had been a glitch in our P.O. Box 420575 address where some mail may have been unfortunately returned to you, please know that the P.O. Box 420575 is back up and running and we are truly sorry for an inconvenience this may have caused you. Our website is also back up and running and we would like to invite you to visit it often for any new updates and information not only for TIAG, but also for other events happening in the travel industry. If you have any important travel related events happening, please let us know by e-mailing this information to Igor at kimagic@ica.net and please make sure to add TIAG to the subject line. Then this information will be posted to our calendar for all members to be able to view and act on as and when necessary. You may put on as much or as little as you feel is necessary for members to me aware of, ie. If it is a closed meeting that is by invitation only, you may only want to inform us of the date with no time or place. This allows for people to be able to plan their events accordingly knowing if they would be expecting an invite or not. This is also allows for other suppliers to be able to plan their events with less conflict between events.

I would also like to thank everyone who had volunteered for USO on June 14, we more than met our quota of 6 and while I would have liked to have included each person who volunteered and I am thankful and glad for the travel industry people in Atlanta, GA who are willing to give up their free time to be of service both for TIAG and for the USO. When the USO gives us another date to volunteer, I will let everyone know.

If you would like to donate some money to the USO, you can either mail a check to the above P.O. box or bring it to the June 05 Yalla, Israel, and Jordan event. Please make check out to USO as it will be handed over directly to USO on June 14.

We also welcome your comments. We are trying to set up a blog on the website and we would like for you try it out and give us you feedback on both the website and the blog. Please let us know if you have any problems on it so that we can have them fixed.

Tracy Ann Bobak-Ho President of TIAG for 2008.
